Every November, we start seeing moustaches pop up everywhere. Some are majestic. Some… not so much. But every one of them represents something powerful, a movement for men’s health.
Movember began as a simple idea: grow a moustache, spark a conversation, and raise awareness for men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. But over time, it’s become something bigger. It’s a reminder that small actions can create real change.
And that’s where our worlds overlap.
At The GOOD Games, we believe in the power of movement, not just the kind that strengthens the body, but the kind that strengthens society. The movements that make people show up, look out for one another, and push things forward for the better.
When people move, play, and connect, something shifts. Confidence grows. Walls come down. Conversations start. Communities form.
That’s the spirit of Movember, showing up, starting the conversation, and checking in, and not waiting until it’s too late.
This month, we’ll be using our platforms to celebrate movement, men’s mental health, and community. You’ll see challenges, reflections, and maybe a few questionable moustaches along the way…most definitely a few questionable moustaches along the way 🙂
But whether you grow a ‘stache or not, I hope you move with us this month. Go for a walk, play a sport, or reach out to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Do something GOOD, because movement, in all its forms, has the power to change lives.
Always play on,
Mike
